The lighting system gives off light that lets you see and be seen in both night and day, showing those you encounter how big your car is, where you are and which direction you are going. Born in the late 90s, they use lamps containing an inert gas, Xenon, which lights up when high voltage is applied between the two electrodes inside the bulb. They give off a white light similar to daylight, for unequalled driving comfort. The electronic system that prevents the risk of dangerous curves by activating a fog light is called Static Frontlight System (SFS). In case of turns or curves at low speed or when you turn on an indicator switch, the SFS system also turns on the fog light on the same side. In top of the range models, this function is integrated into the headlights and specifically has a bulb for it.
